The Wrong Sort of Snow

2th Mar 2004

A good dump of snow and a cold spell. A perfect recipe for powder!

Excellent day - rubbish climbing. Unconsolidated powder everywhere. Stefan and I swam up Central Trinity. We came back down to the lake and wondered if Gribin ridge would be any better. It wasn't, but we flailed up it anyway. Finished over Lliwedd and back down the Miners track. A throughly knackering and enjoyable 9+ hours all said.
