Trevor Rocks

7th June 2006

Blue Flash (VS 4b) - Quarry, South Wall

The athletes look nervous as they prepare for the start.
The guide book warns of a "bold route up the slab...".

John at the starting blocks.
They may also be the finishing blocks if you pull on them too hard.

John carefully replaces a typical South Wall hold.

The loneliness of the lone distant runner.

The end is in sight.

John finishes - weak at the knees, but relieved.

Having sampled the delights of trad climbing at Trevor Rocks, we retired to the relative safety of the bolted Suspect Wall.

Not a bad place to be on a Wednesday evening.
